INTERMEDIATE EOD RIGGING AND ORDNANCE EXTRICATION (ROE-I)

PREREQUISITE: BASIC EOD RIGGING AND ORDNANCE EXTRICATION
40 HRS / FIVE 8-HOUR DAYS
Basic and Advanced Options Available

This intermediate level course reviews material taught in the Basic EOD Rigging and Ordnance Extrication course and introduces new skills to locate, access, and extricate or recover unexploded ordnance in high angle and confined space environments. EOD personnel will deepen their knowledge and skills necessary to safely access ordnance in elevated complex locations through realistic scenarios. This intermediate level training can be focused entirely on specific environments such as maritime, urban, and mountain. Alternatively, this course can combine environments (similar to our basic course).

ADVANCED EOD RIGGING AND ORDNANCE EXTRICATION (ROE-A)

PREREQUISITE: INTERMEDIATE EOD RIGGING AND ORDNANCE EXTRICATION
40 HRS / FIVE 8-HOUR DAYS
Basic and Intermediate Options Available

This advanced level course reviews material taught in both the Basic and Intermediate EOD Rigging and Ordnance Extrication courses and introduces the complexity of locating, accessing, and extricating or recovering unexploded ordnance in confined spaces utilizing SCBA. EOD personnel will test their knowledge and skills necessary to safely access and extricate ordnance in complex, realistic scenarios. This advanced level training focuses on an EOD response in a maritime/shipboard environment; however, the concepts and principles readily apply to an urban/industrial environment as well.

BASIC EOD RIGGING AND ORDNANCE EXTRICATION (ROE-B)

PREREQUISITE: NONE
40 HRS / FIVE 8-HOUR DAYS
Intermediate and Advanced Options Available

Roco Rescue recognized a capability gap for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technicians to access, render safe, and extricate unexploded ordnance at height (such as a missile in the superstructure of a ship, or a bomb in a multi-story building). This course provides training for EOD personnel to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to safely access ordnance in elevated complex locations through realistic scenarios. Throughout this training the students will learn and understand their capabilities to access, lift, and lower ordnance in maritime, urban, and mountain environments.

CUSTOM COURSES

Roco Spiral Development CycleMix and match the skills and subject areas from our standard courses to create a training course tailored to your needs. Many teams ask us to simulate obstacles they’ve encountered during past missions so that they can practice what may have been a novel or challenging situation and get feedback on how they might perform better.

Select training blocks from our tactical courses, or include topics from our municipal and industrial programs, such as Tower Climbing, Trench Rescue, Rope Access, or other topics. We also provide Team Performance Evaluations (TPEs) and administer mission scenarios that will put your team’s skills to the test.

MODULAR TRAINING

When time constraints prevent dedicating your assets to a full course, consider Roco Tactical Courses in a modular format. Select what you need based on the time and resources available. Modular Tactical Training can also be used for Skills Refresher in the particular discipline selected.

CASEVAC EXTRACTION
LEVEL II

PREREQUISITE: NONE
40 HRS / FIVE 8-HOUR DAYS

Take your skills to the next level with Roco Rescue’s CASEVAC Extraction Level II training. After developing and teaching the TCCC CASEVAC New Equipment Training (NET) course for SOCOM, we recognized the need for a follow up class for both sustainment training and to introduce more advanced techniques. CASEVAC Extraction Level II bridges the remaining capabilities gap by providing more in-depth training on extraction principles.

This training will focus on patient access and executing Roco Rescue’s CASEVAC Algorithm™. Participants will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to save a life or prevent further injuries by rapid, decisive extraction of victims in a variety of inaccessible environments. While the premise of CASEVAC training is to aid the fellow service member, the skills taught in this course are effective in any spontaneous rescue situation as well as the everyday performance of your mission.

Roco recommends attending the CASEVAC NET course prior to attending CASEVAC II; however, this training will include a refresher on the basic skills covered in NET prior to introducing advanced techniques.
