Description

The SMC Aluminum Locking D Carabiner’s design has stood the test of time in the rock climbing, mountaineering and rescue communities. More recently, it is building a reputation for excellence in the industrial world, thanks to its unparalleled combination of light weight, high strength, wide gate opening and overall versatility.

The aluminum frame’s asymmetrical, slightly flattened shape gives the Locking D a better strength-to-weight profile. The locking sleeve engages the gate rather than the frame to prevent jamming.

Available in three colors: Bright, Black, and Red.
The Red version features a color anodized frame with bright gate and sleeve.

Also available as NFPA Certified for Technical Use.
