Petzl ASCENTREE

Description

The Petzl ASCENTREE is a double handled rope clamp used for tree climbing. It can be used to ascend doubled ropes using the foot-lock technique, or it can be used in conjunction with two PANTIN foot ascenders. With ergonomically designed handles, the Petzl ASCENTREE allows for a comfortable and powerful grip during pulling. The ASCENTREE permits the user to work at a distance from the rope, which protects against accidental rope cutting or other hazards, allowing for a safer ascent. Plus, its tearing energy absorber provides safety in the event of a fall. In addition, the catch/cam unit is totally integrated to prevent accidental snagging. The Petzl ASCENTREE’s design includes a fabric pouch to protect against abrasion and splashes, can make the process of regular inspection easier.
