Josh Hill’s role as Chief Logistics Officer spans a wide variety of tasks covering a broad cross-section of Roco Rescue’s business, but the common element he brings to his role is a sharp focus on ensuring that business operations run smoothly. He is also responsible for tracking safety parameters to ensure company compliance and adherence to certain standards, and spearheading research for technical rescue gear, among other duties.
Before joining Roco Rescue, Josh served in the armed forces and then worked as a firefighter with the Baton Rouge Fire Department, where he was on the technical rescue team. Josh initially joined Roco Rescue on a part-time basis, serving on a standby rescue team for about three years before accepting a position as a full-time training instructor. As an instructor, he specialized in confined space rescue training, vehicle extrication, and structural collapse, and eventually became a Chief Instructor. In 2011, Josh transitioned into a more administrative role with the company and now serves as Roco Rescue’s Chief Logistics Officer.
Outside of work, Josh loves spending time with his three children, volunteering at his church, and cheering for the New York Yankees.
