Certification to NFPA 1006 Confined Space

Fast-Track 80™ offers Roco Rescue’s Confined Space Rescue Technician certification in eight (8) days. This accelerated 80-hour course begins with core skills and concludes with certification testing to individual skill requirements listed in NFPA 1006 and 1670 for Confined Space Technician Level. Testing to a national consensus standard, such as NFPA, is also an excellent means of documenting individual skills proficiency in accordance with OSHA 1910.146.

The course will quickly advance students to more complex confined space rescue scenarios along with elevated or high angle operations. Rescue response capabilities will be enhanced by extensive hands-on teaching stations and realistic problem-solving exercises, including on-air, simulated IDLH scenarios.

Roco Rescue’s certification testing includes individual skills proficiency, scenario-based performance evaluation and written exam. This certification is valid for two years and can be renewed by successfully completing our Recertification program.

NOTE: Fast-Track 80™ completes the Confined Space Rescue skill requirements of NFPA 1006 and 1670 for Confined Space Technician Level. It also contains many of the individual skill requirements of NFPA 1006 and 1670 for Rope Rescue Technician with the exception of some specific skills such as rope ascension, high-lines and knot passing, which is offered in our Fast-Track 120™ program.
