Structural Collapse

Hours: 40
Prerequisites: None

Those arriving first at the scene of a structural collapse incident are the most likely to save lives – if they’re properly trained and know how to use the equipment that is commonly found on emergency apparatus. Designed with the first responder in mind, Roco Structural Collapse training will provide simple, practical techniques that can be extremely effective when lives are on the line.

Classroom lecture and hands-on scenarios will give rescuers the tools and experience needed to successfully respond to structural collapse incidents. With the primary focus on rescuer safety, students will learn about the dangers and necessary precautions to take when working in these environments.

*This course meets NFPA 1006 certification requirements for Structural Collapse Rescue with the exception of lighting and crane operations.
