FAST TRACK 80 Confined Space Certification
Hours: 80
Prerequisites: None
COMBINED RESCUE I-PLUS & RESCUE TECH II
Fast-Track 80 is designed specifically for industrial rescue teams and offers Roco Rescue Tech II-Confined Space Rescue Certification in only 80 hours.
The course begins with core skills and concludes with certification testing based on the skill requirements of NFPA 1006 & 1670 for Confined Space Rescue. This certification testing to a national consensus standard (such as NFPA) is an excellent means of documenting individual skills proficiency in accordance with OSHA 1910.146.
Fast-Track 80 is an accelerated 80-hour program that will quickly advance students to more complex confined space rescue scenarios along with elevated (high angle) operations. Response capabilities will be enhanced by extensive hands-on teaching stations and realistic problem-solving exercises, including on-air, simulated IDLH scenarios.
Roco Certification testing includes individual skills proficiency, scenario-based performance evaluation and written exam. This certification is valid for two years and can be renewed by successfully completing our Recertification program.
NOTE: Fast-Track 80 completes the Confined Space Rescue skill requirements of NFPA 1006 (Level II) and NFPA 1670 (Technician Level). It also meets the Rope Rescue skill requirements of NFPA 1006 & 1670 with the exception of select skills such as rope ascension, high-lines and knot passing, which are offered in our Rescue Tech III or Fast-Track 120 programs.
