FAST-TRACK 120 Confined Space & Rope Certification
Hours: 120
Prerequisites: None
Consolidated Rescue I-Plus, Confined Space Tech II and Rope Tech II
NOTICE: This is a physically demanding course and includes rope ascension.
While not for the faint-of-heart, Fast-Track 120 is Roco's ultimate rope rescue experience. This program will produce a more "well-rounded" rescuer who is capable of safely and effectively responding to a wide variety of confined space and rope rescue incidents. Consolidating Rescue I-Plus, Confined Space Tech II and Rope Tech II into one comprehensive program, it begins with the core skills and concludes with Confined Space and Rope Rescue certification testing. This proficiency testing is also a great way to document individual skills and performance capabilities as referenced in OSHA 1910.146. Students will quickly advance to more complex confined space rescue operations, including on-air IDLH scenarios. Technical rope skills will be expanded in elevated (high angle) scenarios to include rope ascension, highline systems and knot passing. Hands-on practice stations and problem-solving exercises will prepare students for testing in individual skills proficiency, performance-based scenarios and written exam. Roco's technician certification is valid for two years.
