Building a better, safer, more effective rescuer - that's our mission. For more than 27 years, Roco has trained and equipped emergency responders from around the globe. With the opening of our new Roco Training Center, we are now equipped to provide our students with the most realistic learning experience possible.
At our training center in Baton Rouge, emergency responders can participate in a variety of rescue disciplines. Open-enrollment courses include: confined space and rope rescue, trench, structural collapse, rescue from fall protection, firefighter escape, and tower work/rescue. With more than 100 instructors nationwide, we can also provide these training programs at your site as private training.
Staying on the leading edge of techniques and equipment has always been our priority. Now, with revamped standards on the horizon, we've redesigned our courses to include updated and expanded skills. For those who must follow OSHA mandates, we now offer Confined Space Rescue Technician certification in an 80-hour format (Fast-Track 80).
Safety is a top priority in any training environment and especially emergency response. We are proud to have been recognized for our long-term commitment to safety and quality with the prestigious OSHA VPP Star award for our New Mexico on-site safety operations.
We also provide stand-by rescue teams that are trained and equipped to assist during short or long-term confined space entry operations. These teams consist of Certified Rescue Technicians who are experienced in industrial environments. We can also provide Safety Techs or Certified Occupational Safety Specialists. You can count on our professionals to provide dependable service, compliance and peace-of-mind during your next turnaround or maintenance project.
The best equipment for the job; we believe that emergency responders deserve no less. That's why we field-test equipment before we recommend it to our customers. We put equipment to-the-test on a daily basis in our training and stand-by operations. From this experience, we have developed "Roco Equipment Kits," which are designed to efficiently outfit rescuers and provide for rapid deployment at the emergency scene.
